SINOPSIS / SYNOPSIS

ESPAÑOL

El documental consta de dos acciones principales: la intervención, con pintura y otros elementos, de los chicos de la calle en el centro de escucha del Espace Jarrot (Brazzaville), el espacio en el que pasan varias horas cada día, transformándolo y, paralelamente la entrega de tres cámaras handycam a un grupo de chicos iniciados en la fotografía.
Durante un mes grabaron situaciones decididas por consenso entre ellos, sin que el equipo del documental estuviese presente.

ENGLISH

The action undertaken in the documentary is the handing over of video cameras to a group of 4 youngsters who have already taken their first steps in photography. For one month they filmed subjects that they chose themselves by consensus, without the presence of the documentary crew.
Another action parallel to this one took place in the centre for the attention of street children, in which the youngsters transformed the Espace Jarrot (Brazzaville) through interventions with paint and other materials.

José Ramón Bas. Es un fotógrafo español , su trabajo se caracteriza por mezclar la imagen fotográfica con ilustraciones y textos, generando un potente sentido narrativo. Aunque son las imágenes las que cuentan la historia, las palabras, fotografiadas o escritas sobre la misma copia, arañando los negativos, consiguen que trascienda el concepto de fotografía y transforman sus imágenes en objetos que preservan la memoria de sus experiencias y emociones.Su obra ha sido expuesto internacionalmente (Madrid, Barcelona,Paris, New York, Boston,Colonia ….) Hacia el 2011 comienza una via de su trabajo con un sesgo social centrándose sobre todo en Africa donde inicia su trabajo “Bango”que desemboca en su primer documental “Bango”realizado en Brazzaville (Républica del Congo) coodirigido con Cinzia Giovanettoni, que terminan en 2016.

Cinzia Giovanettoni: Master FSE en Light Design-orientación espectáculo, Academia de Bellas Artes de Brera, Milán. Cursos de Edición de video en AVID y Alta Definición y Producción Cinematográfica en Altanet, Alta Formación en Arte y Tecnología, Madrid.
He trabajado con algunas ONG en varios proyectos audiovisuales desde 2010 hasta ahora, colaboro con Médicos del Mundo desde principio de 2015 y en 2014 José Ramón Bas y la Fundación Almayuda me propusieron éste proyecto artístico-humanitario, del que salió el documental BANGO, nuestra ópera prima.

José Ramón Bas. It is a Spanish photographer, his work is characterized by mixing the photographic image with illustrations and texts, creating a powerful narrative sense.

Cinzia Giovanettoni: Master FSE in Light Design-oriented show, Academy of fine arts of Brera, Milan. Courses of Editing video on AVID and HD and Film Production in Altanet, high training in art and technology, Madrid. I have worked with NGOs in several audiovisual projects from 2010 until now, collaborated with Doctors of the World from beginning of 2015, and in 2014 José Ramón Bas and the Almayuda Foundation proposed to me this artistic-humanitarian project, from which BANGO is born, our opera prima documentary.
