Zósimo es el mejor en su oficio. Pero si no puede trabajar, su vida no tiene sentido.

BIOGRAFÍA DIRECTOR / DIRECTOR’S BIOGRAPHY

Jesús Prieto es licenciado en dirección de cine y realización de TV por la escuela TAI. Posteriormente amplió sus estudios realizando un máster en puesta en escena cinematográfica en la Escuela Internacional de Cine de San Antonio de los Baños en Cuba.
Como director y guionista ha realizado un buen número de cortometrajes, entre los que cabe destacar Country, rodado en 35 mm. y protagonizado por Silvia Marsó y Armando del Río. Este cortometraje obtuvo numerosos premios, y obtuvo la mención especial de la Agencia del Cortometraje Español como mejor corto del año.
Pero quizá su trabajo más conocido y con mayor repercusión ha sido El Rumor de la Arena, largometraje documental multipremiado en importantes festivales internacionales, y que se estrenó comercialmente en cines en 2008. Actualmente se encuentra a la venta en DVD editado por CAMEO.

Jesús Prieto has studied a negree in Film direction in the TAI Film School in Madrid and a Master in Stagin in the International Film School of San Antonio de los Baños, in Cuba.
He has directed and written a lot of short movies. One of the most important was COUNTRY, shooted in 35 mm. This short film obtained a lot of prizes in some important festivals, like a special mention of the Spanish Short Film Agency, who considered the best short film of the year.
But his most known work is the feature documentary EL RUMOR DE LA ARENA (The Whisper of the Sand) Winner in some of important International film festivals and relased in Spanish cinemas in 2008. Now is on sale on DVD.
