SINOPSIS /SYNOPSIS

ESPAÑOL

Esta es una historia feliz. Orson es un chico un poco pasivo que tiene una vida normal hasta que conoce a Ursule, una chica diferente y muy alegre que cambiará su mundo completamente. Juntos son la pareja perfecta: divertida, interesante y adorable. Pero las cosas no irán como ella desearía, porque Orson no quiere contarle su mayor secreto: cuando llegue el invierno entrará en hibernación durante tres largos meses.

This is a happy story. Orson is a young boy a little bit sedentary who has a regular life. One day he meets Ursule, a different and very cheerful girl who will change his world completely. Together they are the perfect couple: funny, interesting and adorable. But things won’t work the way she wants, because Orson doesn’t want her to know his biggest secret: when winter comes he start a three months long hibernation.

Celle-ci est une histoire joyeuse. Orson est un jeune garçon un peu passif qui a une vie normale jusqu’à ce qu’il rencontre Ursule, une fille différente et joyeuse qui changera sa vie complètement. Ensemble ils sont la couple parfaite : amusante, intéressante et adorable. Mais tout n’ira pas comme elle aurait voulu, parce-que Orson ne veut pas lui raconter qu’à l’arrivé de l’hiver il devra entrer en hibernation pendant trois longs mois.

ESPAÑOL

Marco Barada es director, guionista, actor y montador. Es graduado en Comunicación Audiovisual por la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid y actualmente completa su formación en la ECAM (Escuela de Cinematografía y del Audiovisual de Madrid). Espérame hasta que acabe el invierno es su tercer cortometraje de ficción después de Rewind (2011), una historia de amor y muerte narrada a la inversa y Lemon (2014), el relato de un inesperado encuentro telefónico. En 2012 realizó el documental Julio Álvarez – El rebelde de Madrid sobre el artista madrileño Julio Álvarez. También ha realizado piezas de videoarte como Agua (2013). Actualmente compagina los proyectos de José Antonio Quirós Todo el tiempo del mundo y la serie Aquí, el paraíso con su labor de crítico en la web El Día del Espectador

Marco Barada is a Spanish director, scriptwriter, actor and editor. He is graduated in Audio-visual Communication at Carlos III University of Madrid and he is currently continuing his professional training at ECAM (Madrid’s Cinema School). Wait for me until winter ends is his third fiction short film after Rewind, a backwards-told love and death story, and Lemon, the story of an unexpected phone meeting. In 2012 he made the documentary Julio Álvarez – El rebelde de Madrid about the Madrilenian artist Julio Álvarez. He has also produced video art pieces such as Water (2013). Right now he is working both on José Antonio Quiros’ projects Todo el tiempo del mundo and Aquí, el paraíso as well as writing critiques at El Día del Espectador’s website.
